An independent conference that follows TED's quality standards, valuing ideas that deserve to be shared and connecting deeply with regional wealth - that's TEDxAmazônia. After 13 years, the event has returned to unite voices that speak out for the Amazon and those who live it. It is part of the TED Countdown initiative, focusing on climate solutions, and is the only TEDx in the world to be named after a biome.

Solution

We have been institutional supporters of TEDxAmazônia from the outset, providing support mainly in the areas of communication, public relations and the press. And now, we're also bringing together strategic partners to make the event even more powerful - drawing up sponsorship journeys and experiences that are incredibly in tune with this meeting.

The 2023 edition had local and national repercussions in the main press outlets, such as Um Só Planeta, Valor Econômico, Rede Amazônica, G1 Amazonas, Sumaúma, Metrópolis, Uol Ecoa and many others. In total, there were more than 200 articles published and a reach of more than 3.8 billion people.

In the same edition, Mercado Livre was the event's main sponsor. To this end, we designed and executed the entire brand presence at TEDxAmazônia, enabling a clear positioning in relation to sustainability and Mercado Livre's climate emergency in the Amazon territory. Our role was to build not only the experience, but also opportunities to create content and expand this action.

Results

During the two days of the event, influencers from the Amazon region covered the event in stories and shared their main topics, reaching more than 55,000 people, generating 6,000 interactions and more than 118,000 plays of the podcast "The Voices of the Amazon are coming". In November, the average sales ticket for products from the Free Market biomes increased by more than 400%.
